Pen problems and solutions
New pen in hand: Generally, the pen can be used normally after receiving the water, and there is no need to take out the blisters and soak the new pen as some people say. Of course, sometimes it is inevitable that the pen does not flow out or the nib is dry. At this time, a little treatment is necessary. Generally, the pens that need to be cleaned are the pens with poor ink output after they are bought. Because some pens have not been cleaned after checking the nib before leaving the factory, the components in the ink will condense for a long time and block the ink guide groove of the pen nib, which will cause Poor launching. In this case, you need to remove the pen tip, soak it in warm water (never boiled water) for half to an hour, and then wipe it dry. After installation, it can be used normally. If it still does not work, extend the soaking time. If it still doesn’t work, you need to remove the metal piece of the nib, and then use a small brush to clean the ink guide groove on the back of the nib and the entire capillary structure (that is, the small seams on the plastic part of the nib).
Difficult water flow may also be the cause of the nib itself. One is that the front end of the pen tip is too narrow. At this time, you can press the pen tip slightly in the usual writing posture and hold it for one to two seconds, or you can use a thin blade to expand the pen gap, but you must be careful. The second reason is that the ink channel is too narrow. At this time, you need to use a thin blade to expand the ink channel, so be careful!
